Rs. 3,245 crore has been sanctioned by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) for irrigation and rural drinking water supply projects in Gujarat for 2021-22. The money has been sanctioned under Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF).
A senior NABARD official said that for the state of Gujarat, it is the highest ever allocation for loan assistance to projects. The sanctioned amount under RIDF was 8.5 percent more for the year 2021-22 compared to the Rs. 2,989 crore sanctioned in 2020-21, reported
