Congress leader and Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot on Monday said ‘if PM Modi continues to use central agencies like ED to treat people like this, the country won’t spare him.’ Gehlot’s statement came after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was hounded by the ED for over 10 hours in the National Herald case yesterday.”I would like to tell Modi ji that God gave you the chance to be the PM of the country…Don’t make CBI, Income Tax, or ED treat the people of the country like this, or else the country will not spare you either,” Gehlot said.

Rahul Gandhi’s appearance at the ED office in Delhi saw massive protests and demonstrations by Congress workers across the country in various cities. Over 400 party workers, 26 MPs and 5 MLAs were detained in Delhi itself for staging protests during the questioning of Rahul Gandhi by the ED.
